Hi! I’m Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! In this video, I give you a 15 minute yoga sequence to cure your heartburn or indigestion symptoms. If you’re suffering from heartburn, have acid reflux disease, or GERD, then this short sequence will help to relieve some of those symptoms. You will need a yoga block (Get a Yoga Block: http://amzn.to/2pTkKym) for this class, and you can substitute with a thick book.

In this class we will be moving through several standing poses such as warrior 2 (virabhadrasana II), triangle pose (trikonasana), and side angle pose (uttitha parsvakonasana). We will also be doing a few standing forward bends such as uttanasana and a twisted triangle pose (parvritta trikonasana).

Then we will come to a seat for a series of seated forward folds such as dandhasana and janu sirsasana. Then we will take a seated twist (marichyasana C). Lastly, we will take a seated savasana with the head and torso slightly elevated.

This sequence is a great gentle yoga routine that you can do at home to relieve your acid reflux and pain caused by indigestion. This quick and simple yoga routine is also great for beginners.
